The Masked Singer star Mahalia Barnes sells ‘rare opportunity’ of building block in Mittagong

Singer Mahalia Barnes and her ­musician husband Ben Rogers have listed their building block at Mittagong.

The 7930 sqm Range Rd building block cost $1.6 million last September, bought soon after they had sold their Berrima home for $2.35 million.

With just a few tall trees, the block was marketed last time as a rare opportunity.

It was only on the market by the Mackie family for 10 days before it was ­snapped up.

The Drew Lindsay Real Estate marketing advises it was “in readiness for building” with all the bushfire, geotechnical, survey, waste management reports, plus structural engineer’s drawings and construction specifications ready, saving 18 months of pre-build preparatory work.

Barnes, who starred on last year’s version of The Masked Singer, and Rogers had bought their Berrima home in 2017 for $960,000 after leaving their Redfern warehouse conversion apartment, which they sold for $1.4 million, complete with recording studio.
